Stefano Rensi is a PhD student in the Bioengineering department at Stanford University. Born and raised in Oakland, California, Stefano attended Skyline High School and Laney College before graduating with honors from University of California San Diego in 2007 with a B.S. in bioengineering. Stefano spent the next four years working in industry at Nanomix Inc, researching and developing a point of care bioassay platform. Currently, he is researching the computational modeling of proteins in the Altman Lab at Stanford University.
