Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech is hosting a "High Performance Computing in the Life/Medical Sciences" two-week summer institute sponsored by the National Science Foundation. This summer two-week intensive course is directed towards eligible undergraduates, graduate students and postdocs interested in further developing their expertise in biology relevant high performance and data intensive computing field. During the course, participants will attend lectures and discussions by leading field members including academic and industrial affiliates and work on a group research project with three other course participants.  A travel stipend, including lodging and sustenance is provided.  For more information, please visit  http://nsfsi.vbi.vt.edu/.
