Call for Fellowship Applications for Digital Cultural Heritage Workshop

The LinkSCEEM-2 project would like to announce fellowship opportunities for Digital Cultural Heritage training. Fellows will be able to attend a 3-day workshop from 9-11 May 2012, at the Cyprus Institute, with interesting lectures, field and laboratory work.

The workshop focuses on advanced technologies applied to Cultural Heritage Research, in particular digital data acquisition (photogrammetry, laser scanning and Polynomial Texture Mapping), the use of open?source software for data postprocessing, metadata standards and knowledge management. Theoretical aspects will be complemented with field?work activities at archaeological sites. Professionals from Cultural Heritage institutions (cultural foundations, museums), young researchers and students are invited to submit their application to attend the workshop.

The organizing committee will prioritize regional students and young researchers in a field related to Cultural heritage.
