November 15-20, 2015 – Austin, Texas
Application Deadline – September 3, 2015
SIGHPC's flagship conference is the SC Conference held every November. Established in 1988, SC: The International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis is co-sponsored by ACM and IEEE-CS, with SIGHPC and SIGARCH overseeing it on behalf of ACM. Approximately 5,000 people participate in the technical program, with about 11,000 attendees overall. SC has built a diverse community of participants including researchers, scientists, application developers, computing center staff and management, computing industry staff, agency program managers, journalists, and congressional staffers. This diversity is one of the conference's main strengths, making it a yearly "must attend" forum for stakeholders throughout the technical computing community. SC's technical program has addressed virtually every area of scientific and engineering research, as well as technological development, innovation, and education. SIGHPC provides a limited number of travel grants for undergraduate and early-career graduate students to attend the annual SC Conference held each November. Students may be from any discipline represented at the conference (computer science, computational science, networking, largescale data). A maximum grant of $600 is awarded travel within North America and $1200 for travel from other continents. For more information, please visit http://www.sighpc.org/resources/travel/sighpc-travel.
