OCEANS is an online network for individuals who take part in international study aborad programs. They would like to hear about your experiences abroad and would like to start to exchange experiences/information about the benefits of studying abroad. You get to know new people, see new places and experience a different culture and climate. But you also go abroad to study at another university, to gain new knowledge and broaden your perspective in your respective field of study. Tell them about the special experiences you made. Discuss what insights you got in your courses at your exchange universities; what was different compared to your home university?

The network is entirely run by volunteers and they organize regional events, workshops, conferences and higher education fairs all around the world.  In the coming months, the network plans to organize a UK-wide networking event, gathering current and potential OCEANS members. The network would like the XSEDE community to spread the word to students at our institutions.

OCEANS volunteers are also willing to come and visit your university to give presentations about OCEANS, and to discuss possibilities for future collaborations.
