What Are Your Plans for CSEdWeek? - December 9-15, 2012

Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is just a few weeks away. Do you have your plans or event scheduled?

Last year a school in Massachusetts was so excited and enthusiastic about CSEdWeek that they planned something every day of the week from an assembly featuring representatives from a local Microsoft office and the University of Massachusetts to conducting workshops where students built their own apps. They even got the Governor of Massachusetts to sign a proclamation declaring the week as CS Education Week all over Massachusetts! To learn more about what this school did check out Padmaja Bandaru's blog:

Getting involved is easy and fun. Be sure to go to www.csedweek.org to get some great ideas and pledge your support and participation.

As part of their commitment to support CSEdWeek activities, CSTA has created a new poster (Key to the Future). CSTA and the Donald Bren School of Information & Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine also  created a series of announcements that schools and teachers can use for morning announcements or in the classroom. You can download the poster and the videos at:
