In coordination with the ACCESS team, XSEDE has paused the processing of Startup, Education, and other allocation requests from August 17-31. This pause will ensure that no requests are lost while we are making infrastructure updates behind the scenes and handing things over to ACCESS. If you have questions, contact help@xsede.org. The ACCESS team will resume taking allocation requests on September 1 via https://access-ci.org/.

gsiftp service on Xsede nodes
gsiftp service connection

Hi:

Is gsiftp port 2811 open on Xsede nodes? I did not find there is a service listening on port 2811.

for example, hostname: gridftp.blacklight.psc.teragrid.org

I followed the instrcution below, but there is something wrong with gsiftp authentication. Maybe I guess there should require another certification authentication for gsiftp service.

After receiving your certificate proxies, you can use the GSI-enabled commands to connect to any resource without being challenged for a password. These commands include gsissh, gsiscp, and gsisftp.
"

I plan to use my gridftp client code to connect Xsede nodes, not the GSI-enabled commands. Is that possible?
