In coordination with the ACCESS team, XSEDE has paused the processing of Startup, Education, and other allocation requests from August 17-31. This pause will ensure that no requests are lost while we are making infrastructure updates behind the scenes and handing things over to ACCESS. If you have questions, contact help@xsede.org. Hi sir,
Is there any tool available on SDSC Gordon to get the hop distances between the allocated nodes?. These distances are required for me to create topology graph of allocated nodes. Please help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

Mahendrakar,

Unfortunately, we don't have a production tool for this. However, there is a topology service that was developed as part of a research project and I will send you usage info as soon as I set up the permissions for you to use it.

Is this tool still available? I'd like to use it to understand timing differences between runs with (possibly different) hop counts between the allocated nodes.

It has been 2 months since I stopped using this tool. But it must be available. To use this tool, please open a xsede ticket asking the admin to start the tool for you. They also give examples on access and usage of the tool.
Hope this helps.
