The available SUs have been updated to 450K

We are still working on update to the documentation but the charge for this resource, it will be 1 GPU hour is equal to 1 SU.

Thanks for taking the time to post on the user forums. We are continually working to improve our user documentation and specifically helping those that are totally new to the XSEDE environment find their place.

One good start is the Getting Started Guide:

So now that you have a portal account set up, what you need to do next is request a startup allocation. Startup allocations require minimum documentation, are reviewed all year long, and are valid for one year.

You can get a startup allocation by going here:

https://portal.xsede.org/submit-request#/

Under 'Opportunities' you will see a startup.

Also on this page:

https://portal.xsede.org/online-training

There is an video training for those new to XSEDE.

For example both Stampede and Wrangler are XSEDE resources that support R.

Hi Stanley,

In XSEDE we strive to have user documentation available as soon as systems go online and user guides use a template to ensure that they are consistent across all XSEDE systems. Unfortunately with Forge we are still waiting on the XSEDE user guide from the Forge team but expect to have it in our hands very soon. For now you can access the local user guide on the NCSA site but I will update this thread when the user guide has been added to the portal. Thank you for your time and feedback.
