Hi,<br /><br />I&#039;m new in XSEDE and my knowledge in UNIX is limited. I want to know the process of how to upload my files into the servers as well, how to create/run a batch file for the program I need to use. Since the program is based in FORTRAN 95, it needs to be compiled first in the XSEDE&#039;s servers. In my case, I need to use the Spur and Kraken resources. <br /><br />Nonetheless, I have read several guidelines in order to accomplish this but I&#039;m not very clear in the process. If someone that has experience in this two servers or similar ones, could provide a simple systematic instruction and possible template of the batch file to use in order to create a job queue I will greatly appreciate it. I will be using both Windows and Linux OSes so in general any support is welcome. <br /><br />Also, I&#039;m trying different tools from XSEDE&#039;s File Manager, SSH Secure Shell Client for Windows and Putty besides the UNIX terminal. In short what I&#039;m asking is: 1) Uploading / Transferring files to Spur or Kraken, 2) Creating / Running batch file for job queue, 3) Any additional guidelines, and suggestions for newcomers. <br /><br />Thanks in advance.
